Your Instructor
MEET AHYEONG
Gentle guide. Steady presence. Forever a student.
My name is Ahyeong a.k.a your gentle neighbor, and always, your gentle yoga teacher.
Before I found my way to teaching yoga, I worked in international development and human rights—fields that are deeply human, emotionally demanding, and ask us to keep showing up with compassion and clarity. These experiences taught me the weight of holding space for others and, just as importantly, the necessity of returning home to myself.
Yoga became that home. It became the way I listened inward, softened my edges, and rooted into something steadier. Over time, I’ve come to see yoga not only as a practice of movement and breath, but as an intimate act of remembering—of reconnecting with the strength, softness, and wisdom already living within us.
As your teacher, my intention is to hold space with care and reverence—for your body, your breath, your story. I believe you already hold everything you need within you. My role is simply to help you feel more at home in yourself, just as you are.
Here, we practice to ground. To return. To remember. And to carry that steadiness out into the world.

Her teaching serves a diverse, international community, creating spaces where people from all walks of life can return to their breath, their body, and their inner wisdom.
She has taught group classes in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative Yoga, guided-meditation, and pranayama, blending movement and stillness to support presence, ease, and emotional clarity. Her offerings have included weekly classes and monthly workshops—such as Deep Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Sound Healing—designed to guide students into deeper rest and self-inquiry.
Ahyeong has facilitated in-person workshops in Seoul, D.C., Longyearbyen, and Sydney, often in collaboration with local wellness communities. These workshops center on themes such as grounding, self-trust, grief, and seasonal transitions—bridging yogic tradition with present-day emotional needs.
As a private yoga teacher, she continues to offer personalized sessions—both online and in person—tailored to each student’s healing and growth.
Since 2023, she has also led immersive online workshops for a global audience, weaving together Vipassana meditation, breathwork, and yoga. Each offering is grounded in a meaningful theme and invites participants to reconnect with themselves through intentional movement, groundedness, and holistic care.
“Ahyeong is truly the best instructor. She has made a really big impact and the way she teaches is just so grounding, soothing and calming.”
